Marine Calmet is a lawyer specialized in environment and indigenous people rights. She works for the NGO Nature Rights which is committed to the recognition of rights for Nature and respect of indigenous people’s rights, particularly in French Guyana. She is the spokesperson in France for the collective “Or de question”, a citizen collective opposed to the project “Montagne d’Or” and to the mining industry in French Guyana. She fights for a transformation of our relationship to the living while respecting planetary limits.
