Charles-René Tandé received his accounting diploma in 1989. He began his career with KPMG where he remained 17 years in Paris, including 5 years in training, then in Strasbourg. In 2001, he became a partner at COGEST. Based in Alsace, this firm has 4 partners and 40 collaborators. Involved in defending young and future accountants, he was president of Anecs (National Association of Trainee Accountants, Trainee Auditors and Students in Higher Accounting) and of UnECS (European Union of Accountants trainees). He chaired the Regional Council of the Order of Alsace between 2002 and 2006 and was a member of the High Council of the Order. Since 2013, he has chaired the IFEC union after being its vice-president. In 2017, he was elected president of the Superior Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants.
